Dick Knar

I am now retired after 24 years in high school coaching and administration. I also coached 10 years in Division I basketball.
I’ve been married for 36 years to my college girlfriend and now the mother of my children and my wife.
I was able to get back to Fondy due to the fact that my oldest son played at Marian University.
I haven’t been back there for a while but I will now with some time on my hands.

My surprise going away party at UW-Fond du Lac before I left for the Naval Academy. I just played about 2 hours of basketball and I was sweaty. My dad said he needed help at the campus and when I got there I was definitely surprised so I went to the nearest classroom and hid until my mom brought me some clean close (where was Axe body spray back then!).
I had so many great memories as an athlete that I can’t list them.
